ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Veronica, a former highland dancer, started sewing at the age of 4. Her mother Rosemary (nee MacKenzie), a Textiles major in University, started making kilts when Veronica was 7 years old. Her parents now run the critically acclaimed MacIsaac Kiltmakers in St. Peter's, Cape Breton Island.
Having grown up in the Celtic community, she's always celebrated her heritage. Through dance, music, art, and now clothing - the move to start her own fashion line was a natural one.
